
It seems to me like it should work whenever the sequences are clocked rather than key synced, but I haven't tested it. Beatsync is always on beat, but I've never seen a Wavestate do that?I'll try it out tonight, to see how well it follows sync via MIDI. As the wave sequencer is different to normal sequencers that run on sequencer start and that beatsync, that remains unanswered for me. Same issue with some modern roland arps etc, you can't hit 100% on time in a live setting and then the entire sequence/arp is off my some minimal but potentially audible margin.

But that makes the Wavestate pretty much unable to be paired and played live sequenced from another midi brain works then obviously. It is not apparent from the manual that they do 1.

How do the wave sequences behave if you midi sync the Wavestate to a source?ġ- Do they beat-sync, so that they are always in sync no matter what you play or when you hit?Ģ- Or, do they only tempo-sync meaning you have to hit the first note exactly on time, like keysync?
